>June 2009 - Pierre Guitteny, Managing Director of RVR Systems, takes part in a conference organized by the CXP entitled "How to secure the information systems thanks to risk management"
The CXP (Sofware Expertise Center) organizes a conference day on june 18th on the theme "To maintain cape : the benefits of softwares". The conference entitled "How to secure the information systems thanks to risk management" presented by Christine Labarre Manager within OTC Conseil, describes the different approaches of the Gouvernance of the information systems security and the benefits of implementing available software on the market to support the project. Marc Lebreton, OTC Conseil' CEO, first introduced the discussion by drawing up the key points and objectives of risk management applied to information system. Then the testimonies of the project managers within La Poste and within SNCF brought concrete examples of implementations of risk management applied to information system. To fullfil this vision, three software companies presented the benefits brought by dedicated solutions to optimize the approach. Refering to customer projects, Pierre Guitteny, Managing Director of RVR Systems, showed how RVR integrated platform enables to optimize the risk management project and the deployment of the policies of information systems security within the organizations.
May 2009 - Philippe Noel, RVR Systems’ CEO participates in a forum on the consequences of the crisis on Governance
The Circle of the Associates in Risk Management (CARM) organizes its annual conference on May 28th on the topic 'After the crisis in 2008, what evolutions for risk management?". In a session of the forum focusing on the consequences of the crisis on Governance, Philippe Noel, RVR Systems’ CEO, Bénédicte Huot de Luze, Scientific Director of AMRAE and member of the Board of CARM, and Michel Dennery, President of CARM and ERM Director of GDF SUEZ, presented the evolutions of the regulatory environment impacting Corporate Governance (law of the July 3rd, 2008, transposition of the 8th European Directive) and discussed the new role of the Board of Directors to face the consequences of these new regulations and the crisis.
April 2009 - RVR Systems strengthens its leadership in risk management and internal controls
RVR solution for risk management and internal controls has been selected recently by:
- ESCOTA (Vinci Group), a motorway concession company in France,
- GENERALE DE SANTE, the leading provider of private hospital healthcare services in France,
- EIFFAGE, one of Europe's largest construction and concessions group,
- the information system audit department of a leading pharmaceutical company.
RVR platform for risk management and internal controls confirms that it is a very attractive solution to meet market needs, in particular, for its ease of use, speed of implementation, flexibility, and its high levels of security.
RVR Systems carries on its business development in 2009, following an increase in its turnover in 2008.
February 2009 - Philippe Noel collaborates on the AFGE's letter with an expert opinion entitled "Providing confidence by Risk Intelligence"
The French Association for Company Government (AFGE) is a permanent forum of debate, information and mediation open to the companies and their stockholders on the principles on Company Government, ethics and sustainable development. The association publishes a periodical newsletter to share expert opinions among its members. Philippe Noel, RVR CEO's collaborated on the writing of the letter number 20 of December 2008/ January 2009 dedicated to the analysis of the financial crisis by publishing an article entitled "Providing confidence by Risk Intelligence". He shows how the return of confidence, the efficiency of governance systems and the protection of intangible assets are determining factors in the sustainable growth of our economy.

January 23rd, 24th and 25th, 2008 - RVR Systems is a partner of AMRAE's annual meetings focusing on the subject «Risk, between fear and reason»
Risk Management is one of the main offers and a strategic priority for RVR Systems in terms of solutions, customer projects, and partnerships. RVR Systems, which has been an active member of AMRAE for several years, naturally decided to become a partner of AMRAE's 2008 annual meetings, a major event bringing together many risk management professionals, and whose success is increasing every year. The meetings, which took place in Deauville on January 23rd, 24th and 25th on the subject "Risk, between fear and reason", emphasized the role of risk management as a real leverage for a sustainable improvement of performance within organizations.
November 2007 - RVR Systems organizes a conference with the methodological contribution of the consulting firm Sinequa Risk & Management on how to successfully implement Risk Management and Internal Control projects within Insurance companies
After a quick panorama of regulation environment and its requirements in the Insurance field, Cédric Larribau, Associate Director within Sinequa Risk & Management detailed the steps of risk management and internal control methodologies focusing on a possible joint approach between Internal Control and Quality. Agnès Poyard-Bitran, Director within RVR Systems, illustrated this methodology through a demonstration of the platform RVR and brought thus a concrete tool to support and perpetuate these projects. Rémi Georget, in charge of the Risk Management, Internal Control and Compliance project within Médicis, and Catherine Abiven, General Secretary within D&O, then shared their experiments led respectively in a mutual insurance company and insurance joint institution. This very concrete evidence was very appreciated of their peers provoking numerous questions in the room and a very rich exchange which continued after conference around a coffee.

May 2007 - RVR Systems organizes a breakfast conference on how to concretely implement the reference frame defined by the AMF with the participation of Michel Léger, chair group of place and Patrick Dumouchel, Vice President, Internal Audit for Publicis
Since 2003, the "Loi de Sécurité Financière" regulation forces companies to report their procedures of Internal Control without clarifying the modalities. To fill this lack, a group of place within the AMF, the French Authority of the Financial Markets, published a reference frame in May 2006 supplemented in december of a guide of application. Michel Léger, chair group of place, gave a pragmatic reading of it clarified the major points of application and proposed a roadmap for the implementation. To give concrete examples, Patrick Dumouchel, Vice President Internal Audit for Publicis, presented two different projects supported by RVR platform : the compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and the reduction of the times of countable fence. His operational testimony on shared service centers was very much appreciated by his pairs. Then, Philippe Noel, RVR CEO's, presented a configuration of the RVR software package including the reference frame of the AMF to rapidly set up and monitor a compliance projects with the LSF regulation.
March 2007 - RVR Systems organizes a conference on Enterprise Risk Management
The whole Risk Management community attended this conference organized by RVR Systems at the Regina Hotel in Paris. Bénédicte Huot de Luze, KPMG, shared her expertise on methodology in her talk on how to animate efficiently a process of risk mapping. Philippe Noel, RVR's CEO, presented the main functionalities of RVR Solution for Risk Management and how they contribute to reach major stakes on customers projects. The lively testimony presented by Bruno Dunoyer de Segonzac, Risk Director for Bouygues Telecom, brought a concrete example of ERM project deployed on RVR platform.
March 2007 - RVR Systems participates in a Forum organized by Ernst & Young on "Being stronger by mastering risks"
In one of its Forums, Ernst & young organizes a meeting in Nantes the 6th of March to share entreprises' best practices on Risk Management and their evolutions. RVR Systems presents its complete and integrated solution on ERM (Entreprise Risk management).
February 15, 2007 - RVR Systems takes part in the Conference “Sarbanes-Oxley 2007 – Beyond the certification” organized by Teamlog Consulting
This conference organized by Teamlog Consulting, the consultancy branch of Groupe Open, enabled to discuss the latest proposals by the PCAOB in December 2006 to reform Sarbanes-Oxley, the benefits of compliance and the tools for a good governance. Over 30 companies – most of which listed in the US – attended the conference.
